The main objective is to innovate in the modeling and analysis of network systems through the use of graph theory, systems dynamics, complexity engineering and computational sciences. The implementation of different techniques from areas such as statistical learning and operations research is proposed in order to analyze and describe relevant properties of networked systems (i.e. propagation of information) that lead to complex behavior. The project aims at being able to efficiently approach problems like reliability assessment and decision making support for interacting infrastructure systems on time.
